I just wanted to say that maybe the mike input is
hooked to the wrong pin, or it might be muted. If the "T" light comes on
you are almost home free! The PTT is correct, all else is correct, maybe the
unit was also used with an audio panel and an intercom, which might have
resulted in some unusual wiring with the mike input, or the mike input levels.
There is a Company that sells individual install manuals for a minimum fee,
like about $20.00. Its called esscoaircraft.com I have
never used them. but I have this reference.

The radio received ok, but when I tried to transmit all a got was a 't' sign with no voice transmitted. I'm using a panel mounted phone jacks. I have checked the pin out of the wiring harness and it's ok. Since the prior radio was a Escort 110, I suspect the wiring an receptacle in the plane may be the problem. I know this radio is an older Nav-com, But it is a 720 legal radio and if it works ok after finding the problem it should serve my needs.
