Georgia:: You will be happy to know that they took your advice!! The art deco appearance has been reconstructed at the Fresno Chandler Airport, and the Gang bangers have been relatively controlled in the surrounding neighborhoods. FCH was the original Downtown terminal of Fresno's air transportation system, our other airport (FAT) Fresno/Yosemite was once Hammer Field, a B-24 bomber training base during WWII. We not only have a new airport Manager, Our Mayor Allen Autry (Bubba, on "In the heat of the Night," TV series) is very aviation oriented, and has been supportive of the restoration of Chandler. It's a Neato little airport, C'mon over and see us sometime!
