Right on Dan!  I wouldn't go anywhere near an airplane with a can of
WD-40.
LPS products are the original airframe lubricants.  In the electronics
business, I have never seen a cleaner/lubricant that could match LPS-2.
The
best product in the world to fight corrosions in an airframe is LPS-3.
