----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Percy,
I remember when Georgia went to help on the fly-in. She told me how much fun she had even though she had hoped more Ercoupes would show up.
"Herding Cats" is a pretty good description. I haven't been able to coax more than about 3 Coupes into the air at any one time. But I don't think Coupers are inherently anti-social, I think we are just basically laid-back get there if I can type people who also have other activities going on in our lives. Now that doesn't explain why we can get 50 or so Coupes together for the Nationals and we can't get 5 together to go to a fly-in or breakfast a 100 miles or so away. Go figure. One can't blame Wayne for being put out, especially since he has been a leader in the Coupe community in so many ways.
I hope the Minden, Nebraska sponsors of the Nationals borrow the slushy machine from the Iowa group that had the Nationals this summer. With the proper mixture of ice, limes and flavoring, it produces a nice brain-freezing-thirst-quenching post aviating beverage :-) Iowa was a good time.

Forgot to mention, Ken, that the EFG usually involves a large piece of fried meat,
