Hi All, Well Mary and I were all revved up and ready to fly down to meet you all when disaster struck. As we were taxing out of our tiedown area I noticed that we could only make right turns. It turned out that that was the way the wheel was pointed when the little ball that hooks up the to the steering rod snapped off. Oh well, better at my homeport than down at Hoquiam. My question is, how much control do you have if the was to happen while landing? We hope to meet the rest of the Oregon, Washington Ercoupe Troop at the next get together.
