It was in a PA11 supercub. Four hours was quite uncommon in 1967 as a minimum of 15 hours was required by ICAO rules.
After all these years the cub and I are both still airworthy, though the plane looked a lot better than I do after a restoration in 2002.
Does everyone remember the tail number of the plane they first soloed in?
