I agree, Ed. Our operator in Wausau is a good guy, and he has to give a cut to the city as well as to his boss in Rhinelander, who really owns the fixed base operation. He has no choice in the matter. I patronize him to help keep him here. The next guy could be much worse.

----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Syd, In my casual observation of FBOs, I've seemed to notice that they only get a tanker of fuel once in a long while. Some FBOs don't sell it very fast. If an FBO bought his tanks full of fuel in September at really high prices, perhaps he can't sell it cheap without losing money on each gallon. But if he keeps selling (or not selling) it at $4/gallon, he'll never empty his tanks so he can buy the current cheap gas and go back to making money. This doesn't even rate as high as my humble opinion - it's just a possibility that doesn't involve cheating, gouging or evil.
