I don't know why owning a certain chunk of aluminum and steel entitles
someone to respect; but then I've learned to not judge people by what they own.
By that measure Paris Hilton must be a goddess! I'd love to see the Flying
forum return to flying and Coupes, instead of blind bashing of
environmentalists, posts exhibiting fairy tale notions of science, and etc.

While I have very strong political beliefs, I would consider a fellow
Ercoupe owner as someone worthy of all my respect and appreciation, just for
being an Ercoupe owner, even if he or she had political beliefs opposite to
mine.
We all should consider the Ercoupe forums "neutral" ground, where our
common interest in Ercoupes should allow us to deal with our differences in the
most respectful and courteous way.
