Welcome to the group!  I just bought mine in December, had never sat in one, 
rode in one, or flew one! (I DID however see one parked at an airport once) 
In addition to the normal caveats in buying any aircraft, be SURE to get the 
FAA CD on any you are considering, and look for conversion to D status.  I had 
to reject over a dozen for that reason alone, and sad to say, but there are a 
batch of people trying to pawn them off as C models.  Be careful, there are 
plenty of good ones out there.  If you get close to buying one, email me, I may 
already have the scoop on it.
