Thanks to all who sent their advice. What a great group! I will get the flange off in the next couple of days.
Also thanks to all who sent advice on moving my 'Coupe by road. I went with the tow truck, although the one with the sloping ramp couldn't be made to work as the tail hit the ground long before the main wheels were on the ramp. I had to hire one with a bed that rests flat on the ground and then lifts itself on board with the airplane tied to it. Worked fine. (At $100 per hour, 2 hour minimum) Yikes!
