1.  Magneto output is to the spark plugs via the ignition harness wiring,
so
if the Slicks do "put out higher voltage" of significance, any change
would
be in the ignition harness and not to the P-lead wire size.

2.  Original equipment magnetos on Ercoupes were Case, Eisemann or
Scintilla.  Over time the Scintilla (used by Forney) became Bendix, and
that
is what came on Mooney M-10s.  If Slicks were original on any Alons AND
REQUIRED DIFFERENT P-LEADS, there is no Service or Parts Manual evidence.

3.  If non-original Slicks required heavier P-leads in a coupe of any
vintage, such should be well documented by 337s.  Has anybody seen it?

4.  Of course the final authority on the question you raise should be
Slick!
