Hi Greg:

if indeed the STC cites only the engine, then you'd be home free.
The only STC for an alternator conversion that I've personally
looked at is the JasCo which specifies both airframe and engine
eligibility.

My AD software has an STC search.

I'll check for STC's both via Ercoupe and Continental
and get back to the list.
