Bob; I use an ordinary hydraulic floor jack. The adapter is a rod that slides into the knee joint. I put a 4 X 4 block on top of the floor jack pad, then jack directly on the rod, which has been inserted into the knee joint. I always remove the landing gear fairing first, so as not to do any damage and facilitate removal of the rubber bumper behind the main gear leg, if I am not going to remove the bottom bolt on the landing gear shock absorber.
