I've finally sorted out the mounting of dual (!) GPS units in N99387 using the very neat and tidy R-A-M system. Problem with the system is that it's quite hard to know what you need before you have it in your hand. I have Ramshorn yokes...on the very-cool pretzel-yokes it might be impossible. See http://www.bullough.org/ram/ for photos and part numbers. By the way, aircraft spruce ( www.aircraftspruce.com ) has the best prices, but www.gpscity.com has the best stock. The latter meets the former's prices if asked to. No I and my co-pilot each have our own mapping GPS units. Yes, they're 'obsolete' but they still work great!
