FWIW, my switch is not an original, but an OEM item installed under the 337 for the panel/electrical system re-construction. It's an ACS (Aircraft Spruce) brand. If you hang around antique airplanes, ones old enough to have two toggle switches for the mags, you'll find that many of THOSE seem to shut the mag OFF by flipping the switch UP.
