Reading your post it looks like you've got a handle on what materials you need. If you are planning to change to the double fork, the down side to this is that the double fork is longer than the single fork. Resulting in a lower tail height. There is however an STC available to add shims on the main landing gear shock strut to bring the tail height back to specifications. This height is critical for proper handling during high speed taxi, take off, and landing. Please consider this important STC in your plans to upgrade.
