On my 47 415D the right cap (as you sit in the plane) is vented through the top, while the left fuel cap is vented through the front, which I assume forces air into the tank. The right cap vents fuel sometimes after refueling. Do I have them on correctly?
Both my caps have holes in the front, Charlie. The low air pressure on the top of
the wing can pull fuel our if one fills the tanks too much. I keep mine about an
inch down.
