How is it going, Pal, say hi to Georgia for me.

Will do, Wayne.  She took a "letter" and picture from Audean into work...

You must recheck both fuel and oil caps after line crewmen finish fueling your airplane, Lord knows how many cap configurations can result from well intentioned fuelers in their haste to do a good fueling job for you.
I had a loose fuel cap that cost me about ten gallons of fuel coming out of Minot, ND a few years back. I'll just bet the good citizens of Minot were contemplating burning rainwater in their cars!

My "Loose Cap Story" concerns Opal Walker and I.  We were headed to convention
in Terrell, Texas, from Roswell.  Our last fuel stop was Grandbury.  A bit hazy.  I was
doing the driving.
"Does your float gage usually ride that low, Opal?"
  "Nope...   "   Ooops.
So here we are.  Peering through the murk (it was really better than 4 or 5 miles)
with one eye and watching the float sink with the other.  Finally, Terrell shows up.
Good Ol' GPS!  Opal promised a thorough investigation as we taxiied in.  Didn't
take us long - the Cap on the right wing tank was on crooked!  Like about 90
degrees to the wind.  I felt bad because it was on my side of 99762.  Did a
good run-up and all was well.
Went by Grandbury on our way back, and the fueller managed to get it on
completely backwards this time.  Well, dispite rumors to the contrary, Percy
does learn from time to time.  Caught him in the very act, I did.  Can't say I
caught him red handed because there is no 80/87 left in the known universe.
So the lesson here is, sports fans, to watch the caps.  Say 'Hey' to Cody
for us.
