Subject: Stromberg Carburetors
Well...Three questions.
(1) Have recently changed the jet and venturi to convert 75 to 85.
(p7881 #445 and p16176 - 1 3/8 were the part numbers from Precision Engines who supposedly have the rights to Stromberg) Prop now 71." No increase in RPM. ???
(2) Will not idle below 900-1000 RPM. How many turns should there be in the mixture knob to get a smooth engine before I begin the adjust the idle?
(3) Must this adjustment be made while the engine is running?
Seems suicidal!
