Kevin, there seems to be a whole lot of misunderstanding here. I have never applied for, nor been denied a 337 or STC for the non approved fuel hoses. I was only letting you know that I had not seen either one, from what I have read on this site from WRB and others, it looks like you should have all the information you could possible need to put this matter to rest, regards,Pete. -----Original Message----- From: Ercoupe Technical Discussion [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, April 30, 2004 11:00 PM To: Ercoupe Technical Discussion Subject: Digest list: Ercoupe Technical Discussion (moderated) ---------------------------- From: "Kevin Gassert" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Pete Thomson'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,"'Ercoupe Technical Discussion'" <[email protected]> Reply-To: "Kevin Gassert" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: RE: [COUPERS-TECH] RE: Digest list: Ercoupe Technical Discussion (moderated) Pete, From whom did you ask approval and who said no? I have never seen a 337 or STC for this or never heard of anyone asking for one. I was unable to find approval for such a change and also unable to find the restrictor fitting with threaded ends for the fule pump. Does anyone on site know if there is a 337 or STC for using the better steel braided fuel hoses with the threaded ends, and if so, where did you get the restrictor fitting? I use 2 clamps on the ends of all the hoses but still have concerns about a hose coming off in flight, and the possible engine fire that would result.
