Hi Jan::

there is a name for removing and reinserting avionics equipment, it's
called
"racking" and I used to add a little LPS-2 to the contacting surfaces
prior
to reinsertion to assist in a little corrosion removal. This is a simple
task, but used up a lot of space on "squawk" sheets when chasing down A/C
problems in the middle of the night.
