I am just putting together my forney engine installation after overhaul and I had to figure out what wire to put where in hooking up the generator and voltage regulator. After staring at the wiring diagram in the forney manual it all became quickly clear. But now I have another question for those electro-techno types. How does a voltage regulator work, and what is the meaning of all those wires connected to it?
