[COUPERS-TECH] Which way does it go?

Now that I have everyone’s attention. During the inspection of the generator brushes the A&P and I got into a discussion about which way the tube on the brush cover goes.  We both are of the opinion that it should point down or close to it but when we removed it it was pointed at about 8 o’clock if looked at from the rear of the engine.  Anybody have any ideas or opinions?   Tommy N93929
