Of course you need the MoGas STC from either Peterson or the EAA. You should make sure you've read both of their discussions thoroughly. One of the things in the discussion is that regular gas, at 87 octane, is adequate. Extra 'octane' just gets wasted; and it probably is attained using additives which may or may not be good for the fuel system. I think Peterson recommends a mix of AvGas and MoGas.
