enough of this serious talk about hand propping im not a pilot yet and have no expereience and i even see the dangers with hand proping although when necessary i believe it can be done safely. of course with all the precautions taken that we have learned about. now on the lighter side i would guess all older engines like to be hand propped I know my engine runs better when its been hand propped.
