375 lbs.? That's 2, 170 lb. pilots and 5 pounds of extra
crap. Welcome to Ercouping. Now you see why the metal wing/fabric
wing discussion is always relevant. When my project is finished, no extra
stuff like strobes and landing lights that I don't use will be
installed!

It was mostly stock, but with dual landing lights, strobe, clevelands, and the usful load was only 375#. With 24 gals of fuel it is really a single place airplane unless you and friend are really light weights.----- Original Message -----From: Bill McNeeleySent: Tuesday, April 05, 2005 11:47 PMSubject: [COUPERS-TECH] Wing Weights----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----My partner and are looking to buy an SLA qualified Ercoupe. Useful load is important consideration. Can anyone tell me the difference in weight between fabric and metal Ercoupe wings.============================================================================== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm Search the archives on http://escribe.com/aviation/coupers-tech/============================================================================== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm Search the archives on http://escribe.com/aviation/coupers-tech/
