375 lbs.?  That's 2, 170 lb. pilots and 5 pounds of extra crap.  Welcome to Ercouping.  Now you see why the metal wing/fabric wing discussion is always relevant.  When my project is finished, no extra stuff like strobes and landing lights that I don't use will be installed!

My recent 415C was ragwing with a recent weight and balance.  It was mostly stock, but with dual landing lights, strobe, clevelands, and the usful load was only 375#.  With 24 gals of fuel it is really a single place airplane unless you and friend are really light weights.

My partner and are looking to buy an SLA qualified Ercoupe.  Useful load is important consideration. Can anyone tell me the difference in weight between fabric and metal Ercoupe wings.
