I am having a problem with my Cleveland main wheels and the hubcaps. The screws are 6-32, but because the wheels are aluminum and threads the screws go into are very soft. Even with being very careful most of my screws no longer hold the thread, and I have rethreaded them to 8-32. Now they are loosening again. I have used threadlock and that seems to work, but I am wondering if I should fill the holes with plastic aluminum, and drill and tap to 6-32 again. Just wondering if anyone else has run into the same problem and how you solved it.
