Hello,
I have question about the LSA rule and later model Ercoupes such "D" and
"E" models. If I understood correctly, the D and E models can be
made to qualify for LSA if Max gross weight is increased to 1400 LBS by
mounting floats. Did I read this correctly or am I way off
course?
If my interpretation is correct, what floats were
used way back then, EDO 1400's ??? And who would have the info,
drawings, fittings, specs... to make the installation ? Possibly the
Ercoupe archives ??? I have seen the photos of the coupe with floats on
the web site.
