Most responders like myself have their opinions (sort of like belly buttons, everyone has one ) about what to use. My favorite Non Aviation cleaner has been simple green for working around automobiles. I would not recommend or condone it's use on aircraft or anything made of aluminum. HOWEVER to thicken the plot, Simple green has a new cleaner. It is called EXTREME Simple Green aircraft and precision cleaner. The following is extracted from their web site. www.simplegreen.com
