Walt,
Good reminder on the caution and the green scrubby pads too. We're into the
bug season now and a key in keeping the leading edges clean is a protective
finish that allows the bugs to come off as easy as possible. I've been using DWG
Dri wash n guard Classic for a number of years on various aircraft and it does
exactly that, cleans, polishes, seals and leaves a protective coating that is
not a wax. I have not used it on polished aluminum, but it works great on
chrome. I even use it on my bubble windshield and it works better than
rainx type products, but the caution here is to use a clean soft terry towels,
green scrubby pads can harm the surface. Two terry cloth towels and not
very much scrubbing, the bugs do come off easier.
I had a lot of responses to my previous email on the product, so I'll
provide my site for those that want to learn more about DWG Product, and they
can visit the faq section there. http://cal.dwgint.net/ or
