Hey John: It sounds as if your mechanic may have switched the in and out
lines from/to the fuel pump. You can visually check by tracing the lines as they
come from the firewall to the pump and return. The bottom line on the firewall
is the in line to the pump and should go from the firewall to the rear fitting
on the pump. The upper line on the firewall is the line that feeds the header
tank. It should run from the side of the pump to the firewall.
