Maybe. The only hole you're covering is the one under the
prop. This is not the engine's air intake. It is cooling air for
the oil tank. Do nit cover the intake (filter) and be very cautious
if you decide to cover any part of the openings on either side of the
prop as cylinder head temps can get too high.
