Actually I'm the 4th owner.  My dad sold this plane new (he was a dealer) to his best friend and than bought it back in 56 and sold it again in 57 and bought it again back in 72 and my dad died in 1997  ( my dad flew it until 1995 when he was 86)   and I have had it since. I first flew in this plane in Nov. of 1946 when it was delivered new, I was 12 and now I'm 71.  Oh yes this plane has spent it's entire life in Cheyenne CO. NE within 30 mi. from where it started. I now keep it at Sidney seven miles from it's orginal location at Lorenzo NE. I live in Lorenzo.

My coupe 2749H has TWO  thats right two. one for the pilot and one for the passanger. I remember when we put them in. it was in about 1948. at the time we had the snap vents and they were not too effective and the added noise . (we never used headsets or earplugs back than. thats why old pilots are hard of hearng)  we removed the snap vents and pluged them .of course since than have replaced the windshield.   Believe me you need two cool air vents  At this time there were three coupes at our airport and we all put them in.  All through the years the heater was not two effective. now after 59 yrs. I found the heat was only going  under the floor boards. I now cut a hole in the floorboards in the center behind the yoke column and now we have good heat--better late than never.
