The gross weight of the Light Sport Aircraft is limited to 1320 lbs. The gross weight of a 415E is 1400 lbs, so it does not qualify. Sorry.2.I was dismayed to find out the 415E I own does not squeak into the new Sports plane category.Is there such a thing as a ' variance ' (for lack of a better term)?
