Chris::
Make sure all the radio's and their associated wiring does not restrict the
forward movement of the control column.
Also radio's are hard to see when they are close to the deck, and most
radio's have the nomenclature for the intended use of the knob screen
printed on the underside of the aforementioned control.
I would recommend the Navcom in the panel where it will slide under the fuel
tank with the transponder beneath it. There is only 7.5 inches of clearance
between the rear of the instrument panel and the front of the fuel tank.
The usual length of the navcom and transponder is 11 inches X 6 and a
quarter inches wide.

Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Radio Stack.........
----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any
advice in this forum.]----
Hello everyone,
I am going to upgrade the panel in my 415C. I am
leaning for a Forney panel to house the gyros (all
electric). For the radios, I have seen a few radio
stacks that were put in a center console that went
from the bottom of the instrument panel to the floor.
I would appreciate any input for such a design.
Sincerely,
Chris
