Happy Thanksgiving Fellow Ercoupe Brothers (& Sisters),
Jim Brennan (N57992) and Chuck (N94191) wrote about a New England
Ercoupe fly in. That sounds great! We haven't had an Ercoupe fly in
around here in a long time. I sold my N2569H in June but I am anxiously
awaiting the green light for my next Ercoupe, which is tied up in paper
work with the FAA at this time. (Who knows how long that will take! )
If you guys schedule a NE fly in I'll be very interested. Art Harvey
(N99404) used to schedule the fly ins but sold his baby to a man in ME.
I was going to request the area Ercoupers to get together when I took
possession of my new Ercoupe but Jim and Chuck did so first. Nice! Dick
Murphy is the EOC Region 1 Director who resides in NY. Lets not forget
to invite the Region Director. I know this would get the attention of
many NE Ercoupe owners. Maybe the beginning of a weekly weekend
rendezvous at area airports. Anxiously awaiting the invite and of course
my new plane. I'll drive to the fly ins if I don't have the plane yet.
Got to love these little twin tails!
