Why not fill all three tires with helium and stuff as many helium filled balloons in the plane as you can to lighten the gross wt ???? ds BTW it costs less too

Dave,
The nose gear fairing weighs hardly anything. As long as you do NOT have a
snubber cable, the nose gear can extend fully and the fairing then gives you
very close to a one (1) mph increase in speed, according to Fred Weick, the
Ercoupe designer.
