Scott
You are right.
I know I can pull it out and have it refurbished by an outside shop, however,
I am tight on cash and long on courage.
I am a EE, experienced at DIY on my car, and have an AP IA willing to closely
supervise and document.
I am working on getting the right brushes and bearings. I've got some general
service bulletins on Delco Remy generators.
Has anybody in the forum refurbished their own generator before?
Is there a posted procedure I can follow?
Does anybody has any documentation on the 1101876 that can be shared?
Thanks
