That's very interesting, Glen. My ALON w/C-90 is a bit heavy due to paint, even with a light weight starter and an alternator. Nevertheless, I appears that I could get airborne on a standard day at sea level with a full load of fuel, but no passenger or luggage. My no-wind range might be around 600 sm / 6 hrs (plus reserve). I think I'll look into a bladder transplant.
