I did the same thing I though the brake pads were bad but they checked out
good.
I filled the reservoir, brake pedal went to the floor, tried to bled
the brakes at the wheel but the fittings wouldn't budge. Went home
&*^%##.
Came back a few days later "Brakes" the air must have came
up through the brake lines to the reservoir. They have been working ever
since.
