I have a C75, and crank is marginal. We are looking at the O-200
crankshaft STC, which makes it a C85, I believe.
Thanks,

It looks like I might have to upgrade my C75 to a C85 with the

I have a McCauley 1B90 that is a 73-51. I know the specs for the
C-85 show a propellor between 69.5" and 71". Can my 73" prop
be cut and repitched for the new engine? What is the correct
pitch for this engine? Something between climb and cruise.
Larry,
I don't understand. Are you talking about changing your engine
from a C-75
to be a C-85?
OR, are you planning to use that new STC that lets you use an O-200
crankshaft?
Or, are you thinking about putting in an actual O-200 using the
O-200 STC?
We need to be sure what you're talking about to correctly help with
your
question.
