----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----All,
So I'm kind of confused. My trim handle is on the left wall of the cockpit, and has a cable that gets pushed or pulled to move the trim tab. I didn't realize there were so many other options! Is mine stock or some sort of add on? I DO have the large trim tab...
I should be getting my baby back this week with the new C-85 upgrade (O-200 crank STC). Kind of anxious to see how she climbs!

I think this is the first time I've read about the spring being a potential problem. My 415C has this design with the crank handle on the instrument panel. I've seen the spring and wondered what may be the results of a break. Sounds like this may be a good item to replace as it appears to be an easy preventive maintenance item and low cost - a good safety/economics ratio per se, IMHO.
How do any other coupers see it?============================================================================== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
