----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Darrick, in my opinion the best idea is to always keep the header tank full and use it only in an emergency, such as when your fuel pump quits. I have flown my Ercoupe for 25 years, over 1800 hours, and have only gotten into the header tank twice. I like to refuel about every 2 1/2 hours.

I'd like a more exact way of determining fuel quantity. Two options, mark the wire with paint (? potential to flake off) or install the glass tube type if possible for this model - 415C s/n 1462. Any suggestions which is the better way to go, or any other options? Thanks, you are collectively the encyclopedia of Ercoupe knowledge!Darick94139============================================================================== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
