I,too, have had some problems recently with brown stuff in my tanks. It seems to be small flakes that get caught under the rubber O ring on my tank petcocks and they continually drip. I am in annual right now, and removed the tanks and found nothing in the tanks that resemble the brown stuff. Someone told me that a Cessna 150 at another airport was finding this brown stuff in their tanks too. Could this be a fuel contamination problem at the supply point? Seems not everyone has this problem.
