The carb on my Coupe is wired full open and the mixture control is disconncected. As most of my flying is in the midwest at altitudes below 3000 feet I don't have much need for mixture control - but when planning trips to the high altitude west, Colorado for instance, being able to lean the mixture would be an advantage.
