If you uses Skyports STC for putting in the O-200, you will also upgrading your 415-C to a 415-D that makes the plane not eligible for the Sport Pilot class.

But if you use a field approval for installing an 0-200, you'll plane will stay a 415-C. To get the approval is the problem.

Guys - Who holds the STC for putting an O-200 in a 415-C?

 

Does installing an O-200 in a 415-C take that plane out of the Sport Plane classification.
