Question..... I am thinking about putting in a attitude gyro in my coupe, I did some measuring and looks like there is not enough room in the instrument panel. I have an old one that is 8 inches and that put it right up to the fire wall with no room for the lines.  So I was thinking of an electric attitude gyro which is only 6 inches but there is a 14 volt and a 28 volt gyro.  So is our Ercoupe's 14 volts or 28 volts ? I was also entertaining the thought of installing the Dynon instrument, but I don't think the Ercoupe would support it with all the hook ups needed.   Any thoughts  ?    http://www.dynonavionics.com/

Your Coupe is 14 Volt

You'd need field approval to install anything from Dynon.

This is taken right from their web page

Dynon's products are not FAA certified, but are permissible under the new US Light Sport Aircraft
rule where the manufacturer has approved its use.
