Tandy,

Sounds to me your pitot system swallowed a bug on take off roll.
Bug remnants can get stuck deep inside the tube where a close visual
inspection will not reveal anything. I'll go with the obvious fix first,
have your mechanic back pressure the pitot system to flush out the bug
remnants. Next if the lines are free of obstructions check the connections
where the left wing attaches to the center section. Last, your airspeed
indicator bit the big one and you either replace it or get it fixed. More
than likely that bug was your problem, keep us posted.

Guys - when I took off from Terrell I quickly noticed that my airspeed
indicatior was not working. It did not move from 0 mph.

When I landed at ADS (Addison - in the Dallas area) I checked the pitot tube
cover and it was moving as designed. There is no visible clogging of the
inlet. There appears to be a sort of screen in the inlet end of the pitot
tube.

Any good ideas on where to start looking to fix this problem?
