You can use just one instrument but can use a 4
position switch to go from one cyl to others.

The Stratomaster EGT I mentioned earlier
is digital, claims accuracy within 5° and shows all four cylinders
simultaneously with a bar graph and the actual digital temp.
At $147, that’s not bad (not
including the probes).
