This is very good advice for every one. Part of my starting check list,
right in with the prime step, was Assure Primer Plunger Locked by
Pulling on it. Also remember (in that moment of panic!) that the primer
can keep an engine running when something has gone awry with the fuel
system.

Checking the primer for leaks is high on my list of things to try next
time I get to the plane (hopefully this Saturday morning) Thanks!!
